• sochi2014Who is ready for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games? The torch will be lit tonight in Sochi, Russia, as the games officially get underway for the 22nd time. Whether you prefer to watch from your TV, PC, tablet, or smartphone, there are more ways than ever to get in on the action at this year’s games.

NBC has the rights to broadcast the Olympics until 2020 and they offer a variety of platforms for viewing the games from any device. Of course you can always watch the games on the biggest screen in your house, but if your computer or mobile device is handier, NBC will be streaming more than 1,000 hours of Olympic coverage online, too.

For online viewing, go to http://stream.nbcolympics.com/. Your TV provider must have an agreement with NBC (Dish and Windstream Cable are both supported) in order to access the live content. You can also download the NBC Sports Live Extra app to stream the games on your Apple or Android device. The only event that won’t be available for your streaming pleasure is the opening ceremony. You will need to be in front of your TV for this one.

For even more updates from the games, follow the official Olympic pages on Facebook  and Twitter. You can also get an inside look and more candid shots by checking out these famous Olympian athletes on Instagram.

Check out the events schedule at NBC to see when your favorite games will be played.
