You knew it was coming and you kept putting it off….now Valentine’s Day will be here in less than 4 days! If you are like most people and have waited until the last minute, I have put together a list of quick gift ideas that will please the sweetheart on your list. Thankfully the internet has made gift buying fast and easy and most of these can be purchased with just a few clicks.

    Flowers
Ok, I know some people feel flowers are overrated, BUT if there is one thing that will bring a smile to your sweetheart’s face, it’s a beautiful bouquet. Roses may be a little cliché for Valentine’s Day, so if you want to send something unexpected, try tulips or lilies. A lot of florists offer Valentine’s Day specials, too. You can order online and have them delivered to your special someone's doorstep or place of work.

    Gift Card
When you think about a gift card, you may feel it’s too impersonal, but truth be told, EVERYONE can find a way to spend a gift card. A few of my favorites are Amazon, Best Buy, Starbucks, and Visa. All of these retailers offer e-gift cards. Just purchase online and it can be delivered to your darling’s email inbox.

    Dinner
If a romantic dinner for two is on your agenda, stop what you are doing and make reservations immediately! Since Valentine’s Day is on a Friday, that means restaurants may be full or have a decent wait time. Some establishments offer online reservations. If that's not available for your restaurant of choice, give them a call and see if they have an open table.

    Picture
One of my favorite gifts to give and receive are pictures. We all take tons of pictures on our phone, and these snapshots can easily be blown up into a larger size and framed. Visit your favorite one hour photo lab and upload your picture online. Then all you have to do is pick it up, put it in a frame, and voila!

    Card
Never underestimate the power of a simple greeting card (with a hand-written, thoughtful note). This is an inexpensive gesture and can go a long way in showing someone how much you care.

    Public Profession
If all else fails, publicly professing your love on social media can go a long way. If time is not on your side, making your admiration “Facebook Official” might buy you a few extra days to get your significant other the gift of their dreams.
