How can I forward ports on my Speedstream 4200 to have my XBOX 360 work properly?

Please do not contact Windstream technical support in regards to setting up your XBOX or XBOX 360. To open ports for your Speedstream 4200 to work with your XBOX 360, you will need to do this on your PC. Please follow these steps: Open your web browser and go to http://192.168.254.254. You may need to authenticate to go into the modem setup interface. On this window, put in admin as both the User Name and Password. Click OK. If this screen does not come up, skip to step 3. If you did not need to authenticate on step 2, you will need to authenticate here. Type in admin for the password. Click OK. On the left side of the Speedstream 4200 web interface, click on Setup and select Port Forwarding. We will first set up the TCP port to be forwarded. Follow these steps in this order: Click on the protocol drop-down and select TCP. For the TCP/UDP ports, type in 3074 in each of these fields. Click on the dot for Redirect selected protocol/service to IP Address: and type in the IP address you set to the XBOX 360. (If you set the XBOX 360 IP address to 192.168.254.50, type that in this field.) Click the Apply button. Now we will set up the UDP ports to be forwarded. Follow these steps in this order: Click on the protocol drop-down and select UDP. For the TCP/UDP ports, type in 88 in each of these fields. Click on the dot for Redirect selected protocol/service to IP Address: and type in the IP address you set to the XBOX 360. (If you set the XBOX 360 IP address to 192.168.254.50, type that in this field.) Click the Apply button. Repeat these steps again for port 3074. Your Speedstream 4200 should have the correct port forwarding setup needed for most games. If your game needs other ports forwarded, follow these same steps for the ports specified by your game's documentation.
