What's happening?
D&E Jazzd Phone service is being discontinued. Service will be disconnected on January 29, 2010 if service is not transferred to another service provider.
What are my service provider options?
We suggest contacting your local Cable provider, or Phone Company to review what phone service options are available to you. You will need to verify with them that your Jazzd Phone, telephone phone number can be transferred to their service.

How do I transfer my service to another provider?
When you've made a decision on which provider you want to transfer your service to, contact them and they will contact D&E/Windstream to have your phone number transferred.
What happens to my telephone number?
If you choose another provider for phone service, you will need to verify with them that you can transfer your Jazzd Phone telephone number to their service. If you cannot and you want to sign up for phone service with another provider you will need to call D&E to disconnect your service. You will be provided a new telephone number with your new service provider.
If I'm transferring my service when do I need to do this?
To avoid service interruption we suggest you contact the provider of choice by January 8, 2010.
What if I do not want to transfer my service?
Contact D&E/Windstream at 877-433-8632 to request a disconnect order. Your disconnect request will be effective within 5 business days of your request.
Do I need to return any equipment?
No, you do not need to return anything to D&E.
When will my billing stop?
The day your number is moved to your new service provider, or on the date of your disconnect order. Please allow up to 3 billing cycles for all final charges, credits, and payments to post on your credit card.
Will disconnecting the Jazzd Phone adapter affect my existing Internet service or home network?
No. Be sure the existing DSL or cable modem are either connected directly to the computer or connected through an existing wireless router or other hardware.
The recommended installation for the Jazzd Phone adapter was to connect it to a router. If the recommended installation was used, removing the Jazzd Phone adapter should not affect any other devices on the home network.
Do I need to make any changes to my telephone wiring?
If the telephone wiring in the house was changed for the Jazzd Phone service to work with multiple phones in the house then the wiring may need to be re-worked.
