  • Yes. The records that we produced are self-authenticating. Additionally, the records are electronically signed to ensure their integrity at the time of production. If you require a declaration, please indicate it in your submission or attach an affidavit for us to fill out.

  • Hang up calls are often from telemarketers with auto dialing devices that sometimes call more numbers than they have operators available. Calls may be received between 7am and 9pm, 7 days a week. It is not unusual to receive three to five calls per day.

  • Always contact your local Law Enforcement Agency. If they feel it is exigent they will contact Windstream for assistance. In addition to contacting Law Enforcement, you may consider Windstream’s Call Trace feature.

  • The Law Enforcement Support Center (LESC) can provide customers with information concerning the local and long-distance calls made from the customer’s phone number at a certain date and time. Keep in mind that some of this information is available to customers in their billing statements through their online account or via mail. The LESC may charge the appropriate fees for looking up this information. The LESC cannot provide information concerning incoming telephone calls without a proper legal demand (either a subpoena or court order). To obtain this information a Business or Residential Release of Records form will need to be filled out, notarized and return to the LESC via mail, email or fax (330-486-3131).

  • Telcodata is a website that will locate the name of the Telecommunication Service Provider when provided with an area code and prefix. This site will also break down the area code and prefix on ”pooled numbers” which are numbers split between several different service providers. For example 720-287 is pooled between 4 different service providers. Telcodata will show which Service Provider handles each pooled set of numbers. Telcodata is not maintained by Windstream. Windstream cannot ensure the accuracy of the results provided by Telcodata.

  • You can access the American Registry of Internet Numbers (ARIN) website to identify the Internet Service Provider of an IP address.Use the ‘Search WHOISRWS’ function located on the top of ARIN’s home page.ARIN is not maintained by Windstream.Windstream cannot ensure the accuracy of the results provided by ARIN.

  • Dynamic IP Addresses change every time a user connects to the Windstream’s network.The majority of Windstream customers have Dynamic IP addresses.IP addresses are not specific to a certain city or state.The customer may be issued any IP address that is assigned to the switch’s service area.The switch may cover multiple cities and states.Static IP Addresses remain the same and are typically used by Large Businesses or Government Entities.

  • Local Call Detail

    Windstream customers are charged for dial tone, not per call; therefore local call detail will not appear on their bill.

    Records of local calls are not maintained in the normal course of business. To attempt to retrieve local calls detail, Windstream must perform an extensive search of raw switch data and then attempt to assemble the relevant data into a report that can be understood by the requesting party. There is no guarantee that any particular local call record will be obtained. Applicable fees may apply to any requesting party, including Law Enforcement agencies b/c this is data that is not maintained in the normal course of Windstream’s business. NO information will be released without a subpoena, court order, or other legal demand specifically requesting this information.

    Call Trace Results (*57)

    Once a call is traced using the *57 feature, contact local Law Enforcement. The trace results will only be released to a law enforcement agency with a exigent request, subpoena, court order, or other legal demand. A successful trace will include the phone number captured and if that phone number is serviced by Windstream, the name and address of the subscriber will be released.     Bill Statements

    Windstream will only provide copies of a customer’s bill statements with a subpoena, court order, or other legal demand specifically requesting this information. Applicable fees may apply, please refer to the Windstream Fee Schedule.

    Subscriber

    Subscriber, or customer information may include customer name, physical and/or billing address. Please note that NO information will be released without a subpoena, court order, or other legal demand specifically requesting this information. Applicable fees may apply.

    Toll/Long Distance Call Detail

    An itemized list of outgoing toll/long distance calls, incoming collect calls, calling cards or third party billed calls may be available on a billing statement. If a customer has an unlimited long distance plan, an itemized list may not appear on the billing statement. Prior to billing, Windstream may not be able to provide all information that will ultimately appear on the customer’s billing statement. NO information will be released without a subpoena, court order, or other legal demand specifically requesting this information. Applicable fees may apply.

    Payment

    Payment information on how the customer paid may be available. However, records of actual bank, credit card or electronic fund transfers are not maintained in the normal course of business. Windstream must perform an extensive search. There is no guarantee that any particular payment record will be obtained. Applicable fees may apply to any requesting party, including Law Enforcement agencies b/c this is data that is not maintained in the normal course of Windstream’s business. $24.99 Fiber Internet Eligibility: Limited Time offer good through 3/26. To be eligible, must be a new Kinetic Broadband Internet customer (i.e., you have not received Kinetic Internet service within the past 30 days) to qualify. Advertised rate is for 1 year and is based on 100Mbps service (and includes $5/mo. AutoPay bill credit). After the advertised rate period, the then current standard rate will apply. Printed bills incur a $2/mo. charge for paper billing (excluding MN, NE, NM, NY, OK, PA, TX, or otherwise prohibited). Promotional credit applicable at sign-up; AutoPay requires separate enrollment. Register for AutoPay though the Go Kinetic Portal or by calling a service representative at 877-807-9463. After enrollment, $5 AutoPay bill credit may take up to two billing cycles to reflect on the bill. DSL Promo Price: Customer will receive highest bandwidth DSL service that Kinetic can then provide at the address for $44.99/mo. for twelve (12) months with AutoPay; customer will see a line-item charge for DSL at $59.99/mo., a $5.00/mo. AutoPay credit, and a $10.00/mo. Promo Credit on their bill each month. Register for AutoPay though the Go Kinetic Portal or by calling a service representative at 877-807-9463. If customer is not registered for AutoPay, customer will be charged $49.99/mo. without the AutoPay credit. After the advertised rate period, DSL service will be charged the then current DSL rate for continued service and future rate increases may be applied. Customer may cancel at any time. Home Phone service not included in price. Customer is responsible for payment of applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges, as these are not included in promotional or standard rates. Broadband Internet customers (existing or new) receive $20.00/mo. credit on their Kinetic Broadband bill if customers have eligible (existing or new) Wireless Services from AT&T Mobility. Customers (having the same billing address) must maintain both services in order to continue to receive broadband credit per month, for up to 24 months. Kinetic Internet: Kinetic cannot guarantee upload or download speeds or uninterrupted, error-free service. Speed availability, capabilities, and provisioning vary depending on several factors: network and terrain conditions; Internet, website, or network congestion; effect of wi-fi use; number of concurrent users; device limitations; and customer location. Speeds 25 Mbps and above may be provisioned in a range including a minimum and maximum speed. Kinetic will provision customer’s location for the fastest speed within the available range, but may be less than the maximum.

Kinetic Gig Speed Fiber: Kinetic Gig Speed Fiber has up to 1 Gig upload speed, which is more than 25x faster upload speed than the best advertised 1 Gig cable internet speed, which has 30-35 Mbps upload speed as of June 2024.

99.9% Network Reliability: Kinetic Network Reliability based on monthly service availability scores from March 2023 to March 2024 as measured by the Windstream Network Operations Center using the formula Available Customer Hours divided by Total Customer Hours (Available Customer Hours plus Customer Outage Hours). Customer Outage Hours does not include planned maintenance, emergency events (hurricanes, winter storms, mass flooding, etc.)

Equipment: Monthly equipment fees may apply. Kinetic-provided modems are capable of in-home wireless networking but connected devices may experience speeds slower than advertised or referenced in your Internet plan. Modem equipment must be returned upon termination, and if not, Windstream reserves the right to charge for the modem or a $100 fee.

Whole Home Wi-Fi Set Up: Whole Home Wi-Fi installation involves Kinetic connect the Kinetic Gateway (modem), Wi-Fi extenders (as needed), & Wi-Fi capable devices to the home's network.

Whole Home Wi-Fi: After the first month, the standard rate for Kinetic Wi-Fi Gateway is $10.99/month. Kinetic Fiber customers may receive up to 3 Kinetic Wi-Fi Extenders for $4.99/month. Kinetic DSL customers may receive up to 3 Kinetic Wi-Fi $10.99/month. Each additional Kinetic Wi-Fi Extender is $10.99/month. Taxes, fees, and surcharges are applicable. Other restrictions may apply. An Internet Activation fee and a Professional Installation fee may apply. At the time of installation, Kinetic Wi-Fi Gateway will be configured to provided the fastest connection then available; individual device connections speeds will vary due to a number of factors including, but not limited to; number of concurrent users and device limitations.

*Reward Card Offer: Value of Reward Card varies based on broadband speed selected; not all broadband speeds qualify for a Reward Card: $100 for 1 Gig Service, and $200 for 2 Gig and up Service. Open to new Kinetic Broadband Internet customers who haven't had Kinetic Internet in the last 30 days. Promotional price applies for 12 months, it includes a promotional sign-up credit & a $5 monthly AutoPay discount (separate enrollment required). Kinetic Reward Prepaid Mastercard: After eligibility has been confirmed by Kinetic, which is determined in Kinetic's sole discretion, customers will receive a redemption email and can choose immediate electronic delivery or a physical card by mail. If physical card delivery is selected, a $3 shipping and handling fee will be deducted from the amount of the card and the card will ship within 5-7 business days. There is a maximum of one prepaid card per household. Use your card anywhere Mastercard is accepted in the U.S. This card is issued by The Bancorp Bank, N.A., pursuant to license by Mastercard International.
