Got Blood? Windstream Recognizes National Blood Donor Month
1. Donate
Donating blood is the gift that keeps on giving. Approximately 36,000 units of red blood cells are needed each day in the U.S., but less than 38 percent of the population is eligible to donate. Do your part and find a blood drive near you.
2. Inspire
Share personal stories, donation experiences and more to help inspire your friends, family, co-workers and others to donate blood.
3. Learn Your Blood Type
What’s your blood type? There are four major blood groups: A, B, AB and O. The type of blood you have is based on the types of antigens present. Knowing your blood type could give you a deeper understanding of your genetic makeup, help you determine dietary needs and even save your life, should you ever need a transfusion.
We are committed to giving back to the Kinetic Communities in which we live and serve. Want to find out when our next blood drives are? Be on the lookout for event updates and more through our Kinetic Community blog, HERE.
