Kinetic by Windstream Hurricane Florence Updates: Part 2

Final fine-tuning measures are underway, and local network teams are prepared to travel to assist areas hit hardest by the storm. We urge all of our customers to closely monitor the storm and obey any evacuation orders from government officials, as Hurricane Florence is said to be one of the strongest hurricanes in decades to hit the eastern seaboard.
We are working tirelessly to ensure our mitigation efforts run according to our business continuity plan and are executing a disciplined procedure designed to keep your services running. However, in the event of any unavoidable weather-related outages, our top priority is to restore service as quickly as possible, while keeping our technicians safe. Because of this, due to 55+ mph wind gusts our employees in Sanford, Olivia, Broadway, Aberdeen, Pinebluff, Laurel Hill and Wagram are now on standby. Repair and install orders will be rescheduled once it’s safe. We will continue to monitor our network from our North Carolina and South Carolina offices.
We encourage our customers to submit requests and tickets via our self-service options for repair issues. Feel free to contact us via Facebook or the @Talk2Windstream Twitter handle. Be sure to follow us on both pages for the latest information.
