Kinetic Canned Food Drive for the Holidays
As we kick off the holiday season, we want to show our Kinetic communities how much we care. From Nov. 1 to Dec. 7, we are accepting non-perishable food items at our retail locations across the U.S. to be donated to local charities, including United Way, Salvation Army, God’s Pantry Food Bank and more.
According to the aid group Feeding America, more than 41 million people – that’s one in eight Americans – struggle with food insecurity, and more than 12 million of those are children. While this number fluctuates with the prevalence of poverty, we want to do our part to fight hunger this holiday season.
We encourage all of our customers to get out during the holidays and donate food, volunteer at local food banks, adopt a family or simply give the gift of love to those who may be less fortunate. Remember, a little goes a long way, and your contribution could make a big difference in someone’s life during these cold winter months.
Residents in Kinetic communities can drop off non-perishable food cans, boxes and unopened containers at any Windstream retail location.
