    Kinetic in New North Carolina Cities

The launch of Kinetic marks an important next step in our continued commitment to providing North Carolina residents with access to high-quality TV and Internet experiences.”

    Kinetic is powered by the Ericsson Mediaroom platform and offers a wide array of features and the highest quality video entertainment for users to enjoy including:

    • High Definition (HD) Channels: Get the TV you love on the stations you know. All packages include HD channels.

    • Free Whole Home DVR: Enjoy watching recorded shows in any room at any time. Record, pause, fast-forward and rewind live TV. Plus, record up to 4 shows at once.

    • Wireless Set Top Box (for additional TVs): Limit wire clutter and enjoy the freedom to watch TV in any room in your house without worrying about cable ports.

    • Video On-Demand: Choose from an extensive library of great entertainment including new releases, shows for kids, and hit TV series.

    • Instant Channel Change: Surf 270+ channels with no lag between channel changes.

    • E****xclusive savings when you bundle services: Bundle Kinetic TV with High-Speed Internet and unlimited phone and save.

    • Free professional installation: Experienced technicians will install your service, free of charge.

    • Kinetic on the Go: Watch your favorite shows from anywhere using your computer, laptop or smartphone.

    Kinetic is available as a bundled service with Windstream’s High-Speed Internet and telephone services. Customers can sign up for Windstream’s Kinetic Preferred Bundle plus 1-Gig high-speed Internet for $99.99 per month for the first year.

    North Carolina is the fourth Kinetic market following successful launches in Lincoln, Neb.; Lexington, Ky., and Sugar Land, Texas, in 2015 and 2016.     Kinetic: Limited-time, non-transferable offer for residential customers that may not be combined with other promotions. Credit restrictions may apply. Subject to availability, Windstream Terms and Conditions, and Windstream Acceptable Use Policy.

    Kinetic Internet: Kinetic cannot guarantee upload or download speeds or uninterrupted, error-free service. Speed availability, capabilities, and provisioning vary depending on several factors: network and terrain conditions; Internet, website, or network congestion; effect of wi-fi use; number of concurrent users; device limitations; and customer location. Speeds 25 Mbps and above may be provisioned in a range including a minimum and maximum speed. Kinetic will provision customer’s location for the fastest speed within the available range, but may be less than the maximum.

    Kinetic Gig Speed Fiber: Kinetic Gig Speed Fiber has up to 1,000 Mbps upload speed, which is nearly 30X faster than the best advertised cable internet speed, which has 200 Mbps upload speed.

    99.9% Network Reliability: Kinetic Network Reliability based on monthly service availability scores from March 2023 to March 2024 as measured by the Windstream Network Operations Center using the formula Available Customer Hours divided by Total Customer Hours (Available Customer Hours plus Customer Outage Hours). Customer Outage Hours does not include planned maintenance, emergency events (hurricanes, winter storms, mass flooding, etc.)

    Equipment: Monthly equipment fees may apply. Kinetic-provided modems are capable of in-home wireless networking but connected devices may experience speeds slower than advertised or referenced in your Internet plan. Modem equipment must be returned upon termination, and if not, Windstream reserves the right to charge for the modem or a $100 fee.

    Installation/Activation: An Internet Activation fee may apply. Professional Installation may be covered under this fee.
