Kinetic by Windstream hosted their first three Kinetic Kindness events earlier this month as a way of showing our communities that we are proud to support them. During these events, employees encouraged Windstream customers and others from around the community to come grab a bite to eat and to spin the prize wheel for some cool goodies. Windstream employees were also on hand to shake hands and speak with customers.
“It was an amazing collaboration internally to serve our customers externally,” said J. Berkshire “We want the communities to know we value their time and business. And what better way to show you care than free food!”
“We served up more than 300 hamburgers and 150 hot dogs at one event. In total we fed more than 1,000 customers across 3 events,” said LaQuilla Porter, Windstream’s Georgia consultant for operation support.
But this is just the beginning for Georgia. After we take a break from the HOT temperatures, we will be BACK in August to continue our Kinetic Kindness events in all markets where we have a retail presence. Check out Facebook to see where the next event will be held.
“We value our customers and our community, as we are your brothers, sisters, neighbors and fellow church goers,” Porter said. “It means a lot to our employees to be able to give back to each of their communities they serve.“
