A commitment to community.

Supporting our communities is something the Kinetic team takes to heart. Recently we connected with Kinetic team members who were thrilled to share their passion for helping others. From Kinetic Kindnesses to free digital literacy education classes, we’re here to make a positive impact on meaningful community connections.

Donations and disaster relief in Mississippi.

One of our Community Engagement Specialists (CES), Emanuel, has been actively working alongside the operations team in Prentiss, MS, delivering supplies after the recent tornados. He helped donate hundreds of to-go plates, utensils, food, and even heavy-duty garbage bags to aid in cleanup efforts. He also participated in community cookouts, supplying charcoal, hundreds of hamburgers, chips, drinks, and more at Bassfield area locations. His enthusiasm is evident from the smile on his face, as well as those around him.

Kindness in Kentucky

Another helpful CES, Victoria, partnered with a local restaurant, Fazoli’s, to deliver hot meals to a warming shelter for the homeless in Somerset, KY. For this goodwill collaboration, they donated pans of hot spaghetti with marinara sauce and breadsticks for residents. Victoria brought granola bars and 50 hand warmers, too. She also donates to the food pantry at Marion County Public Library, including canned goods, soups, and crafts. Victoria loves being out and about in the community helping organizations like youth leagues, and her energy from the gratitude she receives is infectious.

Learning with the Kinetic Digital Literacy Program

Both Victoria and Emanuel have made the Kinetic Digital Literacy Program (KDLP) a huge success, teaching classes designed for people who would like to learn more about the fundamentals of technology, from email to cybersecurity. Recently, 50 senior citizens benefitted from a class to help them battle online fraud, taught in Leeds, Alabama. Emanuel has even used part of the KDLP to teach elementary kids at their school’s career day. KDLP classes have been met with great enthusiasm and eager requests for more. Events continue to be arranged across our footprint, including one coming up in Inman, South Carolina.

Whether delivering supplies or sharing knowledge, these acts of kindness are central to our mission of supporting and uplifting our Kinetic communities. We are proud of our team’s dedication and are inspired to keep spreading kindness everywhere we go.
