This morning at 10 a.m. the Kinetic by Windstream team held a ribbon cutting ceremony located at the Farmer's Market on Airport Rd in Baldwin to celebrate the launch. State Representative Chris Erwin joined Kinetic President of Operations J. Berkshire for the honors.
Gig-speed service has been highly anticipated by residents of Baldwin. “Fast, reliable fast internet is critical to stay connected to what’s important,” said Berkshire. “In a year with more families working remotely, attending school virtually and depending on video calls to keep connected with loved ones, we are pleased to make sure residents of Baldwin have what they need delivered to their door.”
Gig speed allows customers to stream favorite TV shows on Kinetic TV

instantly. Customers can use multiple devices at the same time without a lag in speed or losing connection. The upgrades mean Kinetic meets the demand for seamless voice, video, gaming and ultra-high definition TV service.
“With all the growth coming to Baldwin, I would like to thank Kinetic by Windstream for their investment in faster and more dependable internet,” said Baldwin Mayor Joe Elam. “This investment will help secure more jobs, and more opportunities for our community.”
State Representative Terry Rogers agreed, “I’m extremely impressed and appreciative of Kinetic by Windstream’s investment and participation in helping to provide high speed broadband to all of Georgia, especially our rural areas. As I’ve traveled across the state as a member of the House Rural Development Committee, it’s become very obvious that reliable internet is not just a luxury, but a necessity in keeping our state moving forward. It impacts every part of our lives including the economy, education, and healthcare, and by their participation, Windstream is taking a large step in helping us find the solutions we need. I’m grateful for that.”
