Kinetic by Windstream Launches GIG Speeds in Cleveland

This morning at 11 a.m. the Kinetic by Windstream team held a ribbon cutting ceremony located at Freedom Park in Cleveland to celebrate the launch. State Senator Steve Gooch (Dist. 51) and Cleveland Mayor Josh Turner joined Kinetic Vice President of State Government Affairs Michael Foor for the honors.
Gig-speed service has been highly anticipated by residents of Big Canoe. “Fast, reliable fast internet is critical to stay connected to what’s important,” said Foor. “In a year with more families working remotely, attending school virtually and depending on video calls to keep connected with loved ones, we are pleased to make sure residents of Cleveland have what they need delivered to their door.”
Gig speed allows customers to stream favorite TV shows on Kinetic TV or YouTube TV instantly. Customers can use multiple devices at the same time without a lag in speed or losing connection. The upgrades mean Kinetic meets the demand for seamless voice, video, gaming and ultra-high definition TV service.
“Having affordable access to high speed internet is important in rural Georgia,” said Turner. “Windstream’s announcement that all businesses and residents in Cleveland are eligible for speeds up to one gig is a win for our community. As more hard-working Georgians are working remotely from home, access to high speed internet is essential and will keep Cleveland a top place to live, work, and raise a family.”
