Windstream celebrates grand opening of Hastings retail store with Hastings Chamber of Commerce and Teammates Mentoring Program
“Windstream is committed to putting our customers first and serving the communities where we live and work,” said Brad Hedrick, president of Operations for Windstream in Nebraska. “We’re excited to reopen the retail store in Hastings so that we can provide our customers with in-person support.”
With the hard work and dedication of nearly 250 Nebraska team members and an investment of nearly $1.7 million in network upgrades in Hastings this year alone, Windstream has been working tirelessly to ensure that the Hastings community can experience broadband speeds up to 1 gigabit.
As part of the Windstream store reopening celebration, the Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony. In addition, to mark the occasion, Windstream presented the Teammates Mentoring Program with a $1,000 donation. The Teammates Mentoring Program is a nonprofit organization that provides the support and encouragement youth need to graduate from high school and pursue post-secondary education.
