COMMERCE, Ga.– Windstream announced today that the company is sponsoring three races for driver Alan Prusiensky in the 2018 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) racing season. The sponsorship is in support of the launch of the new Kinetic Internet powered by Windstream brand.
A New Jersey native, Prusiensky has a career-best elapsed time of 6.566 seconds and a career-best speed of 211.69 mph, making him the perfect match for Windstream. Prusiensky is a speed demon, finishing as “Road to the Future” Rookie of the Year in 2016.
“It’s going to be a memorable experience sponsoring the NHRA races spanning Georgia and North Carolina this season,” says J. Berkshire, Georgia area president of operations at Windstream. “We very much look forward to our partnership with Prusiensky Racing, and are confident that Alan will represent Windstream well as he races onto the leaderboards in the same high-speed fashion as our Kinetic brand.”
Here are the races that Kinetic by Windstream will be sponsoring in 2018:
- Four-Wide Nationals in Concord, N.C., at the zMax Dragway, April 27-29.
- Lucas Oil Southern Nationals in Commerce, Ga., at the Atlanta Dragway, May 4-6.
