Is Kinetic internet service required to get an Emergency Broadband Benefit tablet?
Emergency Broadband Benefit program tablets are made available to Emergency Broadband Benefit qualified participants that purchase Kinetic high-speed internet in conjunction with the Emergency Broadband Benefit program.
Is a minimum speed required to use the tablet?
There is no minimum speed requirement; however, 10MB or greater speeds help maximize usage.
What if the tablet I received is damaged in transit?
If your tablet was damaged in transit, please contact Kinetic Customer Care at 1-800-347-1991 between the hours of 7AM and 8PM EST, Monday-Friday and Saturday’s 8:30AM and 5PM EST. If you call within 30 days of receipt of the tablet, we will schedule to have a replacement shipped to you.
Does my tablet come with a warranty?
Yes, your tablet includes a limited (1) year warranty which begins on the original date of purchase and is valid on products purchased and used in the United States.
- To receive warranty service, the purchaser must contact Samsung for problem determination and service procedures. Warranty service can only be performed by a Samsung authorized service center. The original dated bill of sale must be presented upon request as proof of purchase to Samsung or Samsung authorized service center.
- To obtain service under this Limited Warranty, you must return the tablet to an authorized service facility in an adequate container for shipping, accompanied by the sales receipt or comparable proof of sale showing the original date of purchase by the first consumer purchaser, the serial number of the Product and the seller’s name and address.
- The Warranty Period is (1) one year.
