What action do I need to take?

We recommend you remove the copyrighted material referred to in the notice from all computers and other devices where it is stored. In most cases, these files are being shared from a computer with the rest of the Internet via a peer-to-peer file sharing program. You may need to discuss the notices with others who have access to your Internet services. We also recommend you remove the file sharing software that is being used to share the files. If the file continues to be shared, Windstream will continue to receive infringement notices about your account.
