First select which modem you have. If you’re not sure which modem you have, locate the sticker on your modem and look for the model type or name.
T3200/T3260 (these modems have the same interface so we can link them to the same page as long as verbiage is everywhere)
If you have a modem that isn’t listed here, and need assistance setting up your static IP, please call 800 347 1991 and follow the prompts for Internet issue/repair.
Now that you’ve selected your modem, we’ll want to see what ‘encapsulation’ type your service is set up with.
How to get into the Interface:
Open your browser to: http://192.168.254.254
Password: The password is located on a sticker on the side of the modem. This password is different on every single T3200/T3260 modem.
Once you’re logged into the modem:
- Select ADVANCED SETUP
- Select PROCEED at advanced user challenge screen
- Select WAN IP ADDRESSING under the IP ADDRESS section on the left-hand menu
- In SECTION 2, you should have either ‘PPPoE’ or “RFC 1483 via DHCP” selected.
Click the option below for your setup
