First select which modem you have. If you’re not sure which modem you have, locate the sticker on your modem and look for the model type or name.

Now that you’ve selected your modem, we’ll want to see what ‘encapsulation’ type your service is set up with.
Modem Interface
How to get into the Interface:
Open your browser to: http://192.168.254.254
Username: admin
Password: The password is located on a sticker on the side of the modem. This password is different on every single T3200/T3260 modem.
Once you’re logged into the modem:
- Select ADVANCED SETUP
- Select PROCEED at advanced user challenge screen
- Select WAN IP ADDRESSING under the IP ADDRESS section on the left-hand menu
- In SECTION 2, you should have either ‘PPPoE’ or “RFC 1483 via DHCP” selected.
