Windstream offers audible navigation to help our Kinetic TV customers with visual impairments more fully enjoy the television viewing experience.  Audible navigation announces various on-screen text typically displayed on the TV within the guide or menu functions.  For example, if a customer selects the guide button on the remote, the system will audibly announce the channel number highlighted on the guide, the name of the program, the time the program will air, the number of minutes remaining (if the program is underway) and a description of the program.  These items are typically displayed as text on the screen when the guide button is selected.
