What is Customer Account Protection Plan?

Windstream provides a free Customer Account Protection Plan (CAPP) to provide increased account security. CAPP will help protect you against unauthorized changes or access to your account. This pass code will be required for any account access or service changes requested by a third party on your behalf. It helps ensure that your account information is secure and you are protected as a Windstream customer.

In order to enjoy this level of security, we encourage you to establish a CAPP pass code that is personal to you. Your pass code must be six numeric characters. To add CAPP protection to your account, please call (800) 347-1991 to speak with a Windstream representative.
